As one of the most captivating crossover SUVs in the world right now, the BMW x6 has taken the world by storm. Even with its large and storage-friendly design, it seems to be one of the sharpest-looking vehicles on the road right now. From luxury to performance, the BMW x6 has it all, giving you the options to have your cake and eat it too.

A Brief History of the BMW x6

After the concept model was shown at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show, the BMW x6 was released a year later in 2008 and was marketed as a “sports activity coupe.” It was made to combine the characteristics of a high-quality SUV with the appearance of a slim coupe thanks to the sloping roof. Inspiration for the vehicle was drawn from the BMW 5 and 6-Series vehicles, which came before it.

  • Second Generation BMW x6 (2015-2019)

The second-generation x6 saw the introduction of the Comfort adaptive suspension package, an electronic system that allowed the car to adapt to the road ahead of it. The exterior was upgraded a bit as well, giving the car a more muscular look.

  • Third Generation BMW x6 (Present)

By the time the third-generation x6 rolled around, the car had an even more aggressive look with an angular grille and a new M50i performance model. The bumper and taillights were completely upgraded as well.
